Following his tenure in education, he assumed the duties of pastor of Saint Andrew's Church, Newtown, PA. Under his leadership, he organized the planning, design and construction of a new church to meet the growing needs of his parish. Upon his retirement, he accepted the position as chaplain to the retired Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth. He chooses to remain active in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and frequently assists at surrounding parishes.
His "musical career" began at the age of 78, when he became involved as co-lyricist for The Promise, Gift of Grace, and Blessings. He readily admits that God's ways are often mysterious and "seniority" probably had something to do with it.
He shares his living quarters with "Little Girl", his furry, white feline companion who rules with an iron paw. His leisure activities include reading, especially books relating to theology, philosophy and science, solving crossword and jigsaw puzzles, bird watching, playing tennis and rooting for the home team.
